Joseph Stieb, Ph.D.

Joseph Stieb is an assistant professor of National Security Affairs at the United States Navy War College. Joe researches U.S. foreign policy, 20th and 21st century political history, and the War on Terrorism. He is the author of The Regime Change Consensus: Iraq in American Politics, 1990-2003. Joe received his Doctor of Philosophy in history from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, his Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and his Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity University. His writing has appeared in Diplomatic History, The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and American Purpose.
