Shal Mariott is a graduate student at McGill University in the Department of Political Science. Her academic research focuses on Enlightenment and twentieth-century political thought within the liberal canon, including the writings of: Adams Smith, Jean Jacques Rousseau, and Judith Shklar. Shal graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political theory and history from Carleton University. Outside of reading, Shal enjoys traveling and collecting whiskey.
